About Us
About Us:
Written By The Owner/Artist
-I made Two versions the First Version is Short and To The Point.
-The Second Version is a longer but holds a lot of detail behind everything that we do here so that you can be fully informed.
1st Version ( Short And To The Point)
Phaseline started in a small barracks room on Camp Pendleton while I was serving with 1st Battalion, 4th Marines. No big plan, no investors — just late nights, loud music, a beat-up desk, and a stubborn belief that art deserves better than fast fashion.
From day one, the mission has been simple: create gear with meaning. Not lazy designs, not a logo slapped on a cheap shirt, but real art — built to last, made to stand out. Too many brands settle for generic, throwaway clothes. We refuse to be that brand.
Why We Chose Our Blanks
We tested every shirt out there — Gildan, Bella + Canvas, American Apparel, Hanes. Most were cheap, flimsy, or just… boring.
Two stood out:
-
Comfort Colors 1717 – Vintage vibe, rugged, perfect for casual lifestyle fits.
-
Next Level 6210 – Soft, durable, and built for everyday wear.
For hoodies, nothing beat the Independent Trading Company IND4000.
-
Heavyweight, soft interior, clean fit, and strong stitching that actually holds up.
If we wouldn’t wear it ourselves, we won’t sell it.
Stickers That Don’t Suck
We print stickers on full sheets — no tiny, annoying peel-off corners.
-
Cleaner art, easier to peel, lasts longer, looks better.
It’s that simple.
The Name “Phaseline”
In the Marines, a phaseline marks the point where the next stage of a mission begins.
To me, it’s a metaphor for growth — crossing into something new, pushing forward, leveling up. That’s what this brand is all about.
The Community
Phaseline isn’t just me — it’s all of you.
From content-creator boxes to meme battles and even our first graphic novel, you’ve been part of every step.
We’ve grown from a one-man hustle to working with a veteran-run fulfillment team that shares our values and helps bring this vision to life.
Whether you’ve been here since day one or you just found us — you’re what makes this more than a brand. You’re what makes it a movement.
Looking Ahead
We’re just getting started.
Graphic novels, desk mats, giveaways, maybe even a mobile game — the goal is to raise the bar for creativity and bring something real to this space.
Thanks for rocking with us. For believing in this crazy idea. For helping build something that matters.
Stay Rad. Focus Forward. Cross The Line.
2nd Version (Long Version-More Explanation)
Our Mission
At Phaseline, we’re not here to just make clothes — we’re here to make art you can wear. Not only just art you can wear, but art that truly makes a difference.
I personally love tattoos- the reason is not because they look cool, but the fact that they have a meaning behind it. I will say not all designs have a big meaning some are just stuff that ive come up with during a late night of drawing that I thought would be cool to throw into the universe.
I Personally believe that you should only be throwing your best out into the universe- everything you do has some type of cause and effect- I don't want to be the guy that fills someones closet with a bunch of junk. We don't do branding we don't just throw a logo on a shirt and sell it for 40$. In my eyes that's lazy- that's just a brand selling its image. We don't sell an image of the person you are when you were this brand. We show Art- we show hours of work- long ass nights and a lot... a lot of coffee.
_
Too many brands out there are okay with just slapping a random graphic on a cheap t-shirt and calling it a day. (LAZY).
We refuse to be that brand. People already have enough poorly made, meaningless shirts buried in their drawers. Our mission is simple: create high-quality apparel with purpose, passion, and originality.
Our art blends tactical, military-inspired grit with pop-culture influences and a creative edge that makes each design feel alive. We also are introducing alot of Sick products that are going to bring the standard of creativity to a new level. This brand is not just a T-shirt brand- but an action of bringing back creativity. We want to set the Bar So High that people have to really think out of the box to create something amazing.
We’re not here to blend in. We are here to stand out. A mission bigger than pulling a paycheck. I don't want to leave this world with a bunch of unused wasted cash, I want to leave this world with a legacy that is bigger than myself. Leaving an impact of bringing back creativity. Bringing the Fight to Lazy Cash Grab Brands.
We’re here to make you feel like part of something bigger. Something that doesn't feel fake/overdone/lazy.
Where We Started
Phaseline didn’t begin in some corporate office or focus group.
Phaseline started in a Barracks room on Camp Pendleton, while I was Serving with 1st Battalion,4th Marines- 3rd Platoon as an Infantry Rifleman. I learned a lot while in the marines and the one thing that stuck with me is that hard work really does make a difference. It taught me that if I truly wanted to make a difference, I had to be 100% devoted.
I started in a Barracks room on a piece of junk desk — late nights sketching, re-sketching, and brainstorming, fueled by coffee, Loud music, and a stubborn belief that art deserves better than fast fashion.
-A belief that creativity, imagination, and relentless dedication to change are the driving forces behind making a real impact.-
What began as a handful of hand-drawn designs and a small batch of shirts has grown into a community-driven movement. From the very beginning, our focus has been on building something real. Not just a brand — a family of people who believe in pushing forward, staying rad, and creating together. A company built by its supporters. You ask for something we will make sure it gets done. We are here for you. I don't take the support lightly- the community and support has really impacted my life. You have truly made me a Happier Man, and pushed me to go to extreme lengths to make what you support the best thing possible.
The name Phaseline - comes from my time in service.
In the Marine Corps Infantry, a phaseline is a term used in planning and operations. It’s basically a control line drawn on a map that represents a specific point or boundary during a mission.
It’s like a checkpoint or marker that says, “Once you cross this line, the next phase of the mission begins.”
Why Did You Choose To Name The Company Phaseline?
To me, that meaning goes way deeper than just tactics or planning.
It’s a metaphor for life, creativity, and growth.
We all have phaselines in our own lives — those defining moments where you decide to push forward, to level up, to stop holding back.
It’s the point where the old version of you stays behind and the new one steps up.
When I started this brand, I didn’t want just another t-shirt company with a catchy name.
I wanted a name that actually means something- that doesn't just sound cool, that carried weight. So I chose phaseline. Other companies out their create a name that's "Going to Sound Cool and Sell". I wanted a name that was going to leave a mark and be a remembrance of all the trials I went through to continue to create and build this company.
Our Promise to You
We promise never to sell you throwaway clothing.Every design goes through rounds of revisions, testing, and feedback — if it’s not good enough for us to wear proudly, it doesn’t get released.
Our products are built with quality first, meaning I spent a lot of time testing and going through all options before finally choosing the style of blank I wanted to use to represent this brand. Quality shows how much you truly care about the people you're sending your product to.
Why We Chose Comfort Colors & Next Level 6210s
After testing all of these brands (and burning through a lot of late-night sample orders), two stood out above the rest for Phaseline’s mission:
-
Comfort Colors 1717 – For that rugged, vintage, lived-in vibe.
-
Ideal for designs that need texture and character.
-
Feels premium the second you put it on.
-
Perfect for oversized fits and casual, lifestyle pieces.
-
-
Next Level 6210 – For our core, everyday wearable designs.
-
Buttery soft without feeling flimsy.
-
Athletic cut that’s flattering but not tight.
-
Holds up to heavy wear, sweat, and wash cycles.
-
The Proof
I tested them relentlessly.
-
I washed them, dried them, stretched them, wore them to the gym, worked in them, and basically tried to destroy them. I washed them using the non-standard.. realistic way of washing shirts- That everyone does. Throw em in the wash- throw em in the dryer. None of that fancy stuff. However I did learn that if you want your shirts to last longer that following the wash instructions really does make a difference.
-
I wanted to see which blanks survived real life while still feeling great to wear.
In the end:
-
Gildan fell apart after a few washes.
-
Bella + Canvas felt soft but didn’t hold up.
-
American Apparel was too inconsistent.
-
Hanes and Fruit of the Loom felt generic and overused. They held up but at the end of the day I didn't want some generic shirt.
Comfort Colors and Next Level 6210s were the only ones that passed every test.
This isn’t just about selling shirts. It’s about creating pieces that matter — art that tells a story and clothes you’ll actually want to wear for years
They Held up, the print didn't fade, design looked great and after giving a ton of shirts away and getting honest feedback, everyone came back saying they loved them.

Why We Chose Independent Trading Company Hoodies?
When we were looking for the perfect hoodie for Phaseline, we went through a lot of blanks. Some were cheap but felt flimsy. Others were hyped-up “premium” brands that didn’t justify their price once you actually wore and washed them. After all that testing, one stood above the rest — the Independent Trading Company IND4000.
Here’s why this hoodie became our standard:
-
Heavyweight Feel: At 10 oz, it has a solid, nice weight without feeling stiff or uncomfortable.
-
Built to Last: Double-stitched seams and strong construction that hold up after repeated washes and heavy wear. Double stitched seams are really something to look for when your looking for clothing.
-
Soft Interior: The fleece lining is warm and comfortable, perfect for everyday wear.
-
Clean, Timeless Fit: Not boxy, not slim — just right for a wide range of body types.
-
Perfect for Printing: The smooth, tight-knit fabric takes our designs cleanly and keeps them looking sharp over time.
-
Why We Print Stickers The Way We Do?
At Phaseline, every detail matters — even down to how we print our stickers.
We print our sticker packs on full sheets instead of those small, individual peel-off stickers for a few simple reasons:
-
Better Quality & Durability: Printing on a full sheet gives us cleaner edges, sharper art, and longer-lasting stickers.
-
No More Frustrating Peels: You don’t have to fight with thin backings or dig at the corner to get your sticker off — just peel and stick, simple as that.
-
Keeps Art Intact: Our designs stay protected until you’re ready to use them, instead of getting scratched or bent in shipping.
-
Easier to Collect: A full sheet looks better, stores better, and gives you a complete set you can keep or display.
We don’t cut corners — literally or figuratively.
Full sheets mean better stickers, better experience, and less frustration for you.
The Phaseline Community
Phaseline isn’t just us — it’s you, the people who support, inspire, and help us grow.
This community and brand has grown a lot over the past couple years. I have went from doing this in my barracks, to know having a whole fulfillment company of disabled and retired veterans that print for us. We made sure we picked a fulfillment company that was trusted and had a solid line of communication. Communication is key when working with another party. I met with both the owners of the fulfillment company- we went over our values and goals. They aligned perfectly with my values and goals- we both wanted something that meant more than just another generic/overdone company. I also wanted the workplace to be relaxed and be able to support veterans.
We run interactive drops, contests, and games because we want you to be part of the process. From content-creator boxes,Meme battles, Sketchbook, and the beginning of a large operation of OUR FIRST GRAPHIC NOVEL. - You will get to help create decisions on how to make the character and certain themes- your input will be put to great use! Im so grateful for all of you- seriously this means more than words to me.
Our community is full of creators, veterans, athletes, artists, and everyday people who share one thing in common:
A drive to focus forward, overcome challenges, and stay rad — no matter what life throws at them.
Even though I said earlier I couldn't put how grateful I am in words- I will try my best..
When I first started Phaseline, it was just me — late nights drawing, trying to figure out how to turn my ideas into something real. I didn’t have some big plan or perfect roadmap. I just knew I didn’t wanna put out boring clothes with no meaning behind them.
Now, somehow, we’ve grown into this crazy, rad community of people who actually care. People who get it. Every single drop, every box I pack, every sketch I put out — it’s only possible because of you.
I don’t take that lightly. Whether you’ve been here since day one or you just found us, you’re a part of this. You’re what makes Phaseline more than just a brand.
So thank you. For real. Thank you for rocking the gear, sharing the art, and believing in this thing we’re building together.
There’s so much more coming, and I can’t wait to show you. But no matter how big this gets, just know I’ll always be giving you my absolute best.
-Seriously Thank You.
Looking Ahead
We’re just getting started.
Every drop, every piece of art, every late-night design session is building toward something greater.

Tell your friends about it- show your family it. Im trying to do something big with this company. We have a lot of stuff planned- Making the best Graphic novel possible. Making the most rad desk mats. Trying to find a way to make a mobile game. We just want to raise the bar for creativity so that the world can have more creative and imaginative minds. One Step at A Time we get closer and closer to the goal. Our next steps currently are building out the office to be as cool as possible to use for content and creating content that is not just doom scrolling and brain rot. We will be doing giveaways and contest all through out the years ahead. So if your willing and able please consider subscribing to our email.
Stay rad. Focus forward. Cross the line.
